Happy-hour pizza deals are common at bars across New York on weekday afternoons, and many casual restaurants take reservations online through third-party platforms while fast-food spots are walk-in only.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The view was nice. I was expecting more on the food. They use a lot of paper to all the dishes they make. Also they need to improve the service of the waitress. Manager was nice and always communicative.

We came here as a party of 4 and we were thoroughly impressed! Everything we ordered was delicious and despite our waiter being busy, he was super attentive. The restaurant was beautiful too. Just to note, they charge 3% to pay with card. We ordered the caesar salad (this was massive!), calamari, arancini (must try), linguini vongole (very generous with clams and razor clams), the bolognese, and the olive oil cake.

The food was fantastic! Each dish was prepared perfectly, and we had no issues. We would definitely return for more. On the other hand, the service was a complete shock. The waiter was incredibly inattentive and rushed to bring out the food, slamming it down on the table. The manager made a really strange comment to us, which was just plain odd. The servers were good, but the overall atmosphere was busy. This could have been contributed to the waiter’s behavior, but it was our first time there. The staff didn’t seem enthusiastic or receptive to us.

Pastavino offers an energetic atmosphere, excellent service, authentic Italian dishes, and a good selection of drinks and wines. The prices are a bit high for Staten Island and for its distant location and challenging parking (there’s plenty but in a graveled lot, or via valet), yet that is the price for the many good things Pastavino has to offer. You can quickly detect that the restaurant will move your meal along at a quick, although not too quick pace. I sensed they might do that when I saw a notice from the restaurant about the 90 minute limit for a two person table. I prefer it to be speedy so that’s OK with me. It is worse if it moved too slowly. Many Staff members will be there to assist your meal along the way, seemingly well trained to pick up a dish, pour you some water, or tend to anything you might need. The bread is fresh and crispy, and take a look at my photo of the olive oil – – green as olive oil should be. Burn your throat as it should – – perfect! The pasta – – fresh – – is served hot as pasta should be. Perfect. The desserts are pricey and though my wife and I got two desserts we probably would shift to one next time since, though good, we probably didn’t

We always enjoy our dinners at Pastavino!! The food is always amazing and the service couldn’t be better. It’s always our favorite spot to celebrate our special occasions. We chose to celebrate Valentines Day dinner on Thursday and ordered 2 appetizers-Big Vic’s Meatballs, the fried calamari. For dinner we chose Linguini Vongole and the Pollo Alla Parmigiano. Everything was delicious. For desert we enjoyed the decadent Torta Di Nutella. Already looking forward to our next visit!!!
